How BearingNet is connected to Fasten.it
BearingNet is the parent company 
to Fasten.it, which is also the sister 
company to FluidPowerNet. All three 
of these companies work in the same 
way. They provide platforms for 
manufacturers and distributors to buy 
and sell parts. BearingNet members 
trade in bearing and power transmission 
parts and FluidPowerNet members trade 
in hydraulic and pneumatic parts.
In 2026, BearingNet celebrates its 30th 
birthday since its beginning in 1996. The 
BearingNet team has worked hard over 
the past 30 years to build BearingNet into 
the world’s largest bearing and power 
transmissions platform. Since 1996, the 
platform has grown to be home to over 
2,000 members. Similarly to Fasten.it, 
BearingNet also holds User Meetings 
having held 23 User Meetings in total.
An insight into BearingNet in 2025 
2025 was an exciting year for BearingNet 
with a lot of growth and new updates 
made to the platform. The highlights 
of the year were the Warsaw and 
Washington D.C User Meetings. A few 
of the updates that took place were the

redesigned Quotes System page making 
it more user friendly, adapted the mobile 
version of the website, improvements to 
the inventory uploading system which 
is now 80% faster than before, tip of 
the day providing helpful information 
for members, and the Premium and 
Manufacturers’ pages for the BearingNet 
User Meetings so all the information is in 
one place.
What did the numbers look like in 2025?

2,663,444 searches were made on 
average each month

97% of those searches resulted in a 
match each month

85,717 logins on average each 
month over the year

1,772,615 quotes sent in total over 
the year

58 new members joined

The site’s inventory increased by 
596,891 parts
So why is this a good thing? 
Having such a high number of good 
searches throughout the year shows how 
valuable BearingNet is 
to companies searching 
for parts. There are 
currently 18,634,612 
lines of inventory 
listed on the platform 
available for members 
to search for the part 
they need. Customers 
uploading inventory is 
crucial to the members 
of BearingNet and this 
is clearly seen with 
the number of logins 
per month, searches 
made and quotes 
sent. This is why the 
BearingNet team decided to update the       
Quotes System.
The purpose of the redesigned Quotes 
System is to streamline supplier-buyer 
communications, providing a simplified 
and quicker quotation process. Therefore, 
this will help BearingNet members send 
quotes for the parts they require and 
maximise the efficiency of its process.
What can BearingNet offer?
The BearingNet events team host User 
Meetings every year with the aim of 
helping manufacturers and distributors 
connect and build relationships with one 
another. At the most recent User Meeting, 
in Warsaw, Poland, there were over 560 
attendees from over 220 companies.
BearingNet offers a dedicated platform to 
manufacturers called the Manufacturers’ 
Advertising Platform. This is home 
to over 50 manufacturers of bearing 
and power transmission parts, giving 
them the opportunity to promote their          
company to over 2,000 distributors

In summary, BearingNet is continuously 
growing and the members of the platform 
are utilising all the features and benefits
