Why it makes a difference
Build something practical and useful
From our experience, making inventory visible within a trusted   
trade network does a few important things:

It allows manufacturers to showcase specialist products
	
It creates new conversations between businesses
	
It helps solve urgent supply challenges
	
It strengthens relationships across the sector
Sometimes it results in a one-off transaction. Sometimes it 
develops into regular trading. Often, it simply makes it easier for 
members to support one another.
We are not trying to reinvent how the industry operates. We 
are simply trying to remove small barriers and make it easier 
for businesses to see opportunities that already exist within                  
the network.
When inventory search was introduced on BearingNet, it grew 
steadily. It did not happen overnight. It developed because 
members found it useful and trusted how it worked.
Fasten.it is now at that same stage.
With over 100,000 lines already listed, the foundation is in 
place and is a long-term improvement to the platform. As more 
distributors and manufacturers participate, the platform naturally 
becomes more valuable, not because of marketing, but because 
the likelihood of finding a match increases.
Ultimately, our goal is straightforward: To make trading within the fastener industry faster and easier.
