The FluidPowerNet platform (FPN) was
introduced in 2018, it seemed like a
sensible next step for us, as there is a
lot of cross over between bearings and
fluid power. Since 2018, the platform has
grown to be home to 180+ members.
FluidPowerNet is the sister company
to Fasten.it, both of which are powered
by the parent company, BearingNet.
All three of these companies work in
the same way, they provide platforms
for manufacturers and distributors to
buy and sell parts, for FluidPowerNet
the members trade in hydraulic and
pneumatic parts, and BearingNet
members trade in bearing and power
transmission parts.
An insight into FluidPowerNet in 2025
The highlights of the year for FPN were a
new customer care representative, Henry
Rodda henryr@fluidpowernet.net, who
is now looking after our FPN members
and welcoming new businesses to the
platform, and the Brands Portal which
allows users to search for distributors
via the brands they stocks, rather than
only being able to search by part number.
What did the numbers look like in 2025?
•
68,196 searches were made
•
3,085 logins on average each month
•

each month
•

•
24% decrease in failed searches
since 2024
•
The site’s inventory increased
by 452,324
So why is this a good thing?
We now use an AI search which enables
members to search by brand, part number
and description and gives you the best
chance of finding who has the part you

need. The decrease in failed searches
means that more FluidPowerNet
members were able to find what they
were looking for. The high monthly usage
shown from the logins, searches, and
quotes sent in 2025, show how active
the FluidPowerNet members are on
the platform. Ultimately, this displays
how valuable FluidPowerNet is to the
members on the site from the amount
they use the platform to buy and sell
their products.
How did the platform perform based on
the inventory listed?
In December 2025, there was a
record amount of inventory listed on
FluidPowerNet. There were 2,085,610
lines of inventory listed leading to an
even larger record of 2,108,399 lines
listed in January 2026. Additionally,
in January 2025, the highest amount
of Parker branded parts was listed on
FluidPowerNet since July 2020, and in
December 2025 the highest amount of
Bosch Rexroth parts were listed since
August 2020.
What’s next for FPN?
We are concentrating on our SEO on the
public pages for the platform. There is so
much information on the inside of the site
which is protected by a username and
password. However to increase traffic
to the site and to help more companies
find what they are searching for, we are
adding a search to the public page to
show if one of our members is stocking
the part they need, a directory showing
who our members are and what they
stock, and the brand portal which lets the
public see what brands our members are
trading in.
As well as this we will be working hard
on identifying members who
have invested in an e-shop
for their company, we want
to connect these e-shops
to our search database to
help drive inquiries and
ultimately sales for our
members.
In summary, FluidPowerNet
is growing and the members
of the platform are utilising
the features and benefits. As
we move into 2026, there are
plenty of platform updates
planned to help keep
FluidPowerNet as beneficial
as it can be to its members.
