Capping off a busy June, some of the Fasten.it team headed to Fastener Fair  
Italy. Once again, it was brilliant to meet a number of Fasten.it members and 
discuss the platform with the wider fastener and fixing community.
Events like these are invaluable to the industry, as it is great to connect with so many like-minded professionals and 
celebrate the successes, as well as discuss some of the challenges facing the industry. We also love to hear new ideas 
from our members!
NEWS & EVENTS
It has been a busy six months for the Fasten.it team since the last edition of Let’s Fasten.it was released in 
April 2026. We have continued to develop new features on the platform, which you can find out more about in 
this edition of the magazine. We have also been travelling around the world and having brilliant conversations 
with our members and industry professionals.
In April 2026, Nicola Beer, Managing Director, and Chris Howard, 
Commercial Director, attended the British & Irish Association of 
Fastener Distributors (BIAFD) Conference to discuss the Fasten.
it platform and the upcoming CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment 
Mechanism) regulations. These discussions led to new developments 
on the platform, including a new feature that allows members to easily 
display their CBAM status. You can find out more about this feature 
on page 6 of this magazine. 
In June, members of our Sales and Marketing teams headed to Smart 
Manufacturing in Birmingham to speak with Fasten.it, BearingNet 
and FluidPowerNet members. It was great to gain an insight into the 
latest developments within the fastener and fixing industry and to 
explore how Fasten.it can continue to evolve and remain a vital tool 
for the industry.
WHERE ARE WE FOR THE REST OF 2026?
The Fasten.it team will be exhibiting at FASTENER POLAND in Krakow this October. Come and meet 
the team, learn more about the platform and discover the latest Fasten.it developments.
In November, the Fasten.it team will be back in Poland, but this time in the Polish capital for Warsaw 
Industry Week. We will be exhibiting alongside our sister companies BearingNet and FluidPowerNet.
Next stop, Italy! We will be hosting the second Fasten.it User Meeting in the beautiful city of Milan this 
November, with more than 25 attendees including distributors, manufacturers and buyers. This is a 
brilliant opportunity to meet and connect with businesses face-to-face. Read more on pages 22 and 23.
