A Message From the Editors Welcome to the Autumn 2026 edition of Let’s Fasten.it. It has been another busy few months for the Fasten.it community, with new developments on the platform, industry events taking place across Europe and plenty of stories to share from companies around the world. In this issue we take a closer look at some of the topics shaping the fastener and fixing industry. Meanwhile our platform update highlights recent improvements including the new Quotes page, CBAM status visibility and further features coming soon. We also hear directly from Fasten.it members and industry partners. PSM CELADA Fasteners shares a practical guide to fastening in plastics, Oleco Industries looks at the growing importance of sustainable manufacturing, and Hexagon Romania discusses the role of custom anchor bolts in complex construction. Rivit explores how automation and digitalisation are changing industrial fastening, while EFS explains the manufacturing process behind a 560 mm custom square head bolt. Elsewhere, Sunco Industries brings together Japanese fastener specialists for a wide-ranging discussion on international growth, quality and future opportunities. We also look ahead to major industry events, including Fastener Poland, the Guangzhou Sourcing Fair and International Hardware Fair Italy. We also sit down with Federica Capelli to reflect on her years with Fasten.it, the development of the platform and the importance of building strong relationships across the industry. Of course, one of the biggest dates in our calendar is the second Fasten.it User Meeting, taking place in Milan on 12–13 November. Turn to pages 22–23 to find out more.
