Codex Goes Greener with 
ISO 14001 Certification
Slovenian bearing and power transmission distributor, 
Codex, achieves a new environmental certification, 
reflecting the company’s long-term vision of operating 
responsibly to partners worldwide.
At Codex, green has always been more 
than just a colour in the company’s visual 
identity, it represents growth, progress, 
and responsibility. This year, that green 
identity gained an even deeper meaning.
“We are proud to announce that Codex 
has successfully obtained the ISO 14001 
Environmental Management System 
certification, an important milestone 
that strengthens our commitment to 
sustainable and responsible business 
practices,” states Fredi Širovnik,

For many years, Codex has operated 
under the internationally recognised 
ISO 9001 Quality Management System, 
ensuring consistent quality, reliability, 
and continuous improvement across 
our operations. By adding ISO 14001, 
Codex is expanding this commitment 
beyond quality management and 
taking a structured approach toward 
environmental responsibility.
ISO 14001 is an internationally recognised 
standard focused on environmental 
management. It helps organisations 
systematically identify, manage, monitor, 
and improve their environmental impact. 
Achieving this certification confirms that 
Codex actively works toward:

infrastructure, including a solar power 
system installed at its facility to help

footprint and electric vehicle charging 
stations that support the transition 
toward more sustainable mobility.
