AMC: It’s Good to Talk
And just as important to listen! We get to know the team 
at Albion Motion Company, and they talk us through the 
importance of having a good chat with each other.
Here at Albion Motion Company, we 
understand that there is more to servicing 
the trade than just quoting, booking out, 
and delivering stock. Of course, these 
are the fundamental elements to fulfilling 
customer needs, but we always try and 
offer a personal service going the extra 
mile whenever we can.
Whilst the modern world focuses heavily 
on emails, texts, and social media, which 
are all extremely useful and efficient tools 
of the trade, we also value the importance 
of picking up the phone, talking to each 
other, and building relationships with 
our customers.
So much can be learnt from taking the 
time to getting to know each other. It is 
important to know; what makes people 
tick, what is important to them, and 
what they enjoy doing away from the 
workplace? In such a fast-paced industry, 
taking a moment to have a chat and rest 
your eyes from constant screen use can 
make us all happier and more efficient!
We also believe that when something 
does go wrong, it is how you put the 
problem right that is important. It’s easy 
to hide behind a keyboard or bury your 
head in the sand. What people really 
want when things don’t go exactly to plan 
is communication. 
Even in the most well-oiled work 
environment things we haven’t planned 
for happen, often out of our control. But 
picking up the phone and letting people 
know gives us all chance to start working 
on how we put it right. 
As a result, so many of our customers 
have become friends. We appreciate each 
and every one of them, and of course their 
support, loyalty, and business.
Here are few of the things that make the 
team at AMC tick:

AMC team; West Bromwich ALBION 
(of course!) Aston Villa, Leeds, and 
Wolverhampton Wanderers. We 
also have a Worcester Warriors 
Rugby supporter

Smooth Radio and singing along 
•	
Lots of tea, biscuits, and Krispy 
Kreme doughnuts
•	
The odd Peroni and glass of wine!
And not forgetting... playing the double 
bass, Lego, paddle boarding, gaming, 
cycling, running, golf, content creation, 
bird watching, festivals, Formula 1 and 
rally/motorsport; we can’t wait to  
hear all of yours!
In May this year, we recognised Mental 
Health Awareness Week, and the team 
honoured this by sharing a powerful 
message with online followers 
and customers.
Even small actions can help us feel 
hopeful and less powerless. And while our 
individual actions matter, when we come 
together we are even more powerful.
Taking this ethos on board here at 
AMC, we recognise that sometimes the 
smallest things can make the biggest 
difference, whether it’s a cup of tea, a 
slice of cake, sharing a joke, taking a 
moment to talk, or simply checking in on 
one another.
We spend a large part of our lives 
in the workplace, so creating an 
environment where people feel 
supported, valued, and listened to 
is incredibly important to us.
