Solutions with LIMON ROBOT 		
Linear Modules
The development of in-house linear modules expands linear motion and precision 
solutions for customised industrial projects.
Gaes Group continues to expand its 
industrial automation solutions through 
the development of new LIMON ROBOT 
linear modules and transfer units; an in-
house range designed for high-precision 
applications and dynamic motion in 
demanding industrial environments.
Among the most recent projects is a 
10-metre YRO transfer unit developed 
for the movement of a palletising 
robot. Designed and manufactured by 
Gaes Group, the solution combines 
rack-and-pinion transmission to ensure 
synchronised, stable and precise 
movement even over long 	
	
travel distances.
For system integration, Gaes Group 
incorporates components from 
specialised manufacturers such as 
DEVOTEC rack systems, HIWIN linear 
guides and blocks, and automatic 
lubrication systems, as well as KOFON 
gear reducers, optimised to improve 
motion efficiency, precision and 
reliability. The combination of proprietary 
engineering and high-performance 
components enables the development of 
robust solutions tailored to the specific 
requirements of each application.
In addition to YRO configurations for 
long-stroke applications, Gaes Group 
develops various LIMON ROBOT linear 
modules driven by timing belts, ball 
screws and rack-and-pinion systems, 
configurable according to the load, speed 
and precision requirements of each 
project. These solutions stand out for 
their compact design, high travel speeds 
and ability to integrate into standalone 
systems or gantry-type configurations.
The range includes open and closed 
versions, reinforced models and 
long-carriage configurations capable 
of handling higher loads and working 
torques. Some models achieve speeds 
of up to 5 m/s and strokes of up to 10 
metres while maintaining positioning 
accuracy of ±0.05 mm. They also 
incorporate lightweight aluminium 
profiles, dust protection systems and 
centralised lubrication solutions that 
reduce maintenance time and improve 
system lifespan.
Thanks to the modularity of the LIMON 
ROBOT range, Gaes Group can design 
fully customised solutions for linear 
motion applications, packaging, industrial 
robots, production lines and other 
automated systems.
